This is a great opportunity to help your community and be involved in a program that is fun and exciting. The fire house is a place of brotherhood and bonds are made. We range from college students to those that are retired and we do it not for the pay, but for the reward of knowing that we help someone that otherwise wouldn't have been helped. We take training seriously and a lot of time is put in for self development, but we have fun at the same time. Also if you do not want to respond to both EMS and Fire calls then that is not a requirement. We are always looking for medical personnel due to the number of calls we run that are only medical related (80% of RAFPD's calls are medical emergencies).


If you would like to join are ever growing department there are a couple of things that you need to consider:

-Are you a type of person that will help someone no matter the cost?
-Will you commit your time: This is Day, Night, and Weekends?
-Can you commit your time every Wednesday after 6 for our weekly meetings?
-Are you 18 or above and live in our district (if not sure please contact us)?

If you would like to join our department please come down to one of our weekly meetings. 7 o'clock on Wednesday night (6 o'clock on the first Wednesday of the month).  Also if you would like to talk to a member call 629-8107 and leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
