2007 Response Statistics

Riverton Fire and EMS on average responds to 1.75 calls per day.
These calls range from Structure, Brush, and Vehicle Fires to Emergency Medical Calls.

How to read the Statistical Data above:

Fire Reports:
Fire in a Structure:
Actual reported fire in a structure.
Commercial Fire Alarm: Fire Alarm in a business with no fire.
Residential Fire Alarm: Fire Alarm in a residence with no fire.
Brush/Grass: Fire in yards and fields.
Trash/Refuse: Unauthorized burns.
Vehicle: Actual reported vehicle fires.
Other: Uncategorized fires.
Good Intent: 911 call resulting in no-fire.
Standby: Mutual aid companies requesting personnel to standby at station.

EMS Reports:
Medical:
Response to all medical emergencies except motor vehicle accidents.
Motor Vehicle: All medical calls resulting from a motor vehicle accident.

Other:
CO Alarm:
Any carbon monoxide call resulting in positive and negative readings.
Odor Investigation: Any investigation for natural gas, propane, etc.
Spill/Leak: Any call resulting in spill or leak of gases (gasoline, natural gas, propane, etc.).
Storm Damage: Any call resulting in damage due to inclement weather.
Details/Drills: Any duty time for fire alarms at schools, special department trainings, and etc.
Water Emergencies: Any call that results in a water emergencies.
Weather Watch: Any call the results in department members in cooperation with Riverton ESDA to watch for inclement weather.
False Alarm/Canceled: Any call result in cancellation of department personnel before arrival.
